1. The members of The Rangers’ Club went canoeing last Saturday. They enjoyed the beauty of the scenery along the river. Then, Mr Victor, their teacher, saw some rubbish floating on the river.

2. More members pointed out to the rubbish they saw on the river. Mr Victor told everyone to row to the edge of the riverbank. After that, the members gathered under a nearby tree to plan how to clean the river.

3. The next day, everyone returned with tools to clean up the river. Some went on boats to fish out the rubbish from the river. Others stood by the riverbank using long poles to drag out the rubbish.
